Ibiza Shops
Ibiza shops, the Balearic Islands offer an
brilliant shopping, which is so typical of Spain.
The island of Ibiza is no exception and is full of
many well known shops and markets, selling an
ample variety of products.
The larger Ibiza shops usually open around 09:00
to 21:00, particularly in the tourist centers.
Some Ibiza shops do close between 14:00 to 17:00,
for the Spanish afternoon siesta. The numerous
beachfront shops stay open until late at night and
during the high season, most Ibiza shops open
seven days a week. Provincial towns and villages
do not usually have such regular opening hours and
are not really aimed at tourists in Ibiza.
Ibiza shops provide the ideal place to purchase
some of the finest products produced in the city,
which is usually very reasonably priced. The
markets offer a wonderful opportunity to try local
specialties in Ibiza. Most Ibiza shops and markets
in and around Ibiza tend to sell a little of
everything, although Ibiza does have a few
specialist markets. Ibiza's bustling markets
provide a fun way to shop, for both experienced
and novice bargain hunters alike.
Ibiza has a large number of small, interesting
shops that offer a wide range of souvenirs, and
also many larger stores. Ibiza shops can be found
all over the island, but in particular in the
historic areas of Ibiza and also in tourist
centers, near to the beaches and harbors. There
are also shopping centers and numerous Ibiza shops
on the beachfront, selling espadrilles
(traditional footwear in Ibiza), beach mats and
sun-block cream.
